A StorySlam including Special Guest: The Moth Radio Hour's Matthew Dicks
This past summer we held our very first story slam in front of a sold-out audience! At the end of the night the most common question was: when is the next one? We now have an answer!
Lives on the Line will feature brand new stories from the June story slam alumni and from new Kansas City Speaker Corp members. We will also present very special guest, Matthew Dicks. Matthew Dicks is an award-winning storyteller, author, public school teacher and former fast food worker. His stories have been featured countless times on the Moth Radio Hour and on This American Life, TED Talks and others.
Cash bar will be available on site.
Ticket Types available:
General Admission ticket provide access to the two hour storyslam event.
Low-Wage Worker Admission ticket also provide access to the two hour storyslam event and are provided free of charge for low-wage workers.
Pre-Show Cocktail Hour ticket include access to the storyslam performance PLUS a one hour pre-show cocktail hour featuring a Q & A session with Moth Radio Hour's Matthew Dicks and Kansas City Speaker Corp storytellers. Cocktails and small plates will be provided during the hour. Limited number of tickets available.
